FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Some of the things families and referral partners commonly ask us.

Who does Life Lab support?

Life Lab LA provides individualized behavioral and adaptive skills services for adolescents and adults across Los Angeles. We work with individuals and families to develop meaningful skills, greater independence, and improved quality of daily life.

What services are available?

Our services include behavioral assessment and consultation, applied behavior analysis, adaptive skills training, independent living skills, community integration, social and communication skills support, and parent and caregiver training. Every service is individualized. We design support around each person's goals and circumstances.

Where are services provided?

We provide services across the greater Los Angeles area in the environments where skills are most relevant: at home, in the community, at work, and in social settings. We believe the most meaningful growth happens in real-world environments, not clinical isolation.

How does the process begin?

It starts with a conversation. Reach out through our contact form or by email, and we'll schedule an initial discussion to learn about the individual, their goals, and their current situation. From there, we'll talk through how Life Lab might help and what next steps could look like.

How are services individualized?

We don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Every plan starts with understanding the person: their strengths, interests, needs, and goals. We design services around their life, their environments, and their priorities. Plans are reviewed and adjusted regularly as circumstances and goals evolve.

How do families get started?

The simplest way to get started is to reach out through our contact page. Let us know a little about what you're looking for, and a member of our team will follow up to discuss next steps. There's no commitment at the initial conversation stage.
